Practical Nursing (LPN) Application

The Practical Nursing (LPN) program requires a current WCC Admission Application AND completion of the Pracitcal Nursing (LPN) Application below. If you wish to apply to a different selective admission program, you must follow the procedures provided on the Health Professions page.

Admission requirements and deadlines are unique for each of Wytheville Community College’s health professions programs. Please review the individual program pages for more information.

Did you complete 1 unit of High School Biology or NAS150 and receive a C or better?
Did you complete 1 unit of High School Algebra with a C or better?
Did you complete Practical Nursing classes in High School?
Have you ever been enrolled in a healthcare program at another college/university?

OFFICIAL transcripts from high school and ALL colleges previously attended excluding other Virginia Community Colleges, MUST be submitted to the WCC Admissions & Records Office by the application deadline.

I understand that the program indicated above cannot be added as my curriculum/program of study unless I am selected for admission to the program. I agree to be placed in the General Studies-Health Sciences curriculum while I wait to be considered for admission.    

I have read and understand the requirements for health program admission as described on the WCC website. I also understand it is my responsibility to make sure that all admissions requirements are met and that all materials are received by the WCC Admissions and Records Office by the application deadlines.  I also certify that I have disclosed all previous colleges attended and will provide a complete OFFICIAL transcript from each college as a part of my application (excluding other VCCS transcripts).

By checking this box and typing my name below, I certify under penalty of disciplinary action that all of the information is complete and accurate and I agree to the terms as outlined above. I agree to supply the college with the supporting documentation required and any additional information that may be requested.
